You may often wonder about your UK application whether it has been approved or not. While for some it is discomforting, many would want to track their application status. Thankfully, we have a system in the Home Office that lets you track and see the update of your UK visa application unhindered.
First step- How to track my UK visa application
When you make an online application for a UK visa, you receive a case reference. This reference, which is likely to be a unique number, allows you to access information on your application.
To get this information, you have two options, Call mode and online mode. If you have applied from outside the UK, the online tool allows you to check up on the information on your case, but it is chargeable.
The online system, which allows you to connect to the team representing your case, uses email as the contact channel, and you may require to wait a few days for their reply.
Other methods to know
Along with the online system, there is also the option of calling to the various UKVI departments that may handle your case. But the best would be if you used the online system to avoid any delay. For those outside the UK, It’s important for you to use the online system if you need information on your case.
