Contributing to many factors, there are a lot of couples who are suffering from infertility. There is a famous IVF centre in Punjab, whose gynaecologists are of the view that changes in the lifestyle and the various other biological & environmental factors can be held responsible for infertility issues. But here we would like to mention a remarkable point – “The reproductive capabilities of the woman can still be revamped if she has not stepped in her advanced maternal age.” Also, as far as the test tube baby cost is concerned, then the age factor is one of the best determining factors.
Fear of the people
Some people do not take up IVF treatment because of the fear of giving birth to an abnormal child. But here we would like to correct you with the following information:
“ Test tube babies are never born with defects as immediately after the embryo is formed ( after the fertilization process) it is genetically tested to detect if something is abnormal. In case something comes out to be not right, then the other embryos will be contemplated to be implanted in the uterus.”
When should a couple consider undergoing IVF treatment?
- The couple can surely weigh up the option of visiting an IVF centre, in case:
- They have already been late in planning for the baby
- The female partner is suffering from any of the following kinds of infertility:
- Uterine Fibroids
- Blockage in the fallopian tubes
- Low Ovarian reserves
- Weak Uterus

- Low sperm count
- Morphological defects in the sperms

What to expect during the procedure?
The initial consultation of the couples with the fertility specialists is an important part of the process. During this, the doctors would decide whether there is a need for the couple to go IVF or the problems can be sorted out with the other minimally invasive procedures like IUI and ICSI.
It’s decided that you should undergo IVF treatment
- Ovarian Stimulation
The eggs will be produced of quintessentially good quality with the help of various injections and medications.
- Extraction of the eggs and the sperms
The egg will be extracted from the female’s body and the male partner will be asked to provide a sample of his semen. From the semen sample, the sperms will be extracted.
