New Launch Budget Earbuds!!! – SoundPEATS Truengine 3 SE Review – Features & Specification And Buyer’s Guide

Hey guys! The SoundPEATS Truengine 3SE are my favorite earbuds under $60, and I’m here to tell you why. Let’s begin with what’s the package.

SoundPEATS Truengine 3 SE earbuds

Let’s Start To Do Unbox

When you open up this tiny box, you are greeted by the earbuds themselves, along with the case. underneath that you get a USB-C cable, comply foam ear tips for that extra seal and fit, normal ear tips, and finally some paperwork.

Taking out earbuds for the very first time, the build quality is quite good. They are made out of this black, matte plastic that feels soft and grippy. The touch panel also has this nice copper accent and on the other side is transparent plastic housing so you can see what’s inside which is pretty cool! These earbuds definitely do stick out a little, so it might not be for you if you have smaller ears.

They fit my ears pretty nicely though, but your mileage may vary. The case, however, is veined out of the same matte black plastic on the earbuds, and it feels pretty good too, but the hinge is a little bit cheap feeling but that is understandable for the price.

The case is pretty compact too, but it’s still a little too big, and there are four levels of battery indication on the case, which is great! Lastly, the USB-C cable and ear tips are about what you expect; nothing fancy about them.

These things do pack some serious features for the price though. They have the Qualcomm QCC3020 chip with BlueTooth 5, but most importantly, they also have APTX!

This means that the connection will be rock solid, with very minimal audio delay, improved sound quality, and is normally only found on more expensive pairs of earbuds.

These earbuds can also pair separately, so you could use only one of them if you wanted to.

And the battery life on these is excellent! 6.5 hours of playback and 4 recharges in the case for up to… 30 hours in total! You can also use these when working out or when it’s raining because they are rated for IPX5! Again, only $60! SoundPEATS also gives you full control of the earbuds through the touch panel and here they are!

You’re welcome! Now, I know what you’re all wondering: “Fenson! How do these sound?” First of all, a disclaimer: I’m not an audiophile and sound is subjective, but I’ve tested plenty of headphones so you can kind of trust my opinion.

Anyways these earbuds have dual drivers and great reviews, so my expectations were pretty high, but they still exceeded my expectations!

The first thing you notice is the bright and emphasized treble and vocals of the earbuds. This makes listening to any type of vocal work very enjoyable! The mids are slightly recessed but they aren’t lacking, and they deliver a very controlled and tight bass. If you are a bass head, though, you may be disappointed, but I definitely think the trade-off is worth it for those bright vocals!

The sound stage isn’t bad either, and I would rate them as medium-wide: not much width, but lots of depth. The instrument separation and details are also shockingly good for the price range, and you won’t notice anything unless you’re coming from more expensive audio gear.
