There are several situations in which it is necessary to unlock your phone. Indeed, whether you bought a smartphone from an operator and want to change it or have forgotten your different codes, there are always solutions to get you out of it. In this article, we will help you unlock your device.

Retrieve your PIN code
When you turn on your phone, you must enter a PIN code. It is a code that unlocks the SIM card inserted in the smartphone. In addition, if there are two SIM cards, then you will need both codes. In general, the PIN code is entered by the operator you have chosen. Moreover, PIN codes are often standard models of the type 0000 or 1234.

You should know that you can modify these codes in order to personalize them. In addition, if you do not turn off your phone, you will no longer need to enter the PIN code. However, it is sometimes necessary to turn off the device (in the case of a bug for example). And at that time, if you do not enter the code correctly, after 3 attempts, the SIM card will be blocked.

And you will be asked to enter the PUK code. If you have forgotten this code, then you will still be able to use the device but without being able to use your plan. In other words, you will no longer be able to call or send an SMS and of course you will no longer have access to the Internet.

Retrieve your PUK code
If you want to recover the PUK code , know that it is on the plastic card where the SIM card was located. In the event that you no longer have it in your possession, you only have to contact your operator’s customer service to have the PUK code sent again. But beware, some operators may charge you for this service.

Take precautions
In addition to the PIN and PUK codes, in order to protect access to your smartphone, you have the option of adding a password or a scheme. These protection modes allow you to lock and unlock your device.

It may happen that you forget your unlocking method. And knowing that even with the PIN code you will no longer be able to access the content of your device, it is better to take precautions and write down your password or unlocking scheme somewhere.

Finally, note that many devices currently offer unlocking via facial recognition or via fingerprints to avoid this type of problem.
