Signing in with a web browser-

  • You can type the webmail.spectrum.net  in the web browser’s search bar to go to the Spectrum sign-in website. Now, any user can use the Spectrum webmail service to login into their account. 

  • After that, you need to enter your Roadrunner email address and password in the respective input fields. 
  • Lastly, hit the sign-in button to login into your email account. 

Note- 

You can also use https://www.spectrum.net/ to login into your account. But, don’t use the old Roadrunner login portals because they are not working anymore. The company has shut down the old login portal as Charter now acquires Roadrunner. So, you have to use the Charter Spectrum online portals to login into your account. 

Logging into the Roadrunner email account on an iOS device-

 

The browser method is a little tricky and time-consuming. Because every time you need to log in to your account, you first have to open a web browser. After that, you have to wait for the sign-in page to download to log in to the account. But, you can avoid all this hustle by setting up your account on your device. Once you’ve set up the Roadrunner email account, you do not need to type your credentials every time before logging into your account. So, it is better to set up your account on the device for quick access.

 Follow these steps, to begin with, the setup- 

  • First of all, look for the Settings option on your iOS device. 
  • Now choose the Email or Mail option on your device.
  • Next, select the Add Account option to set up your account. 
  • After that, you are required to click on the Others option. 
  • Then, add your Roadrunner email address and password in the address input field. Following this, hit the Next button. 
  • On the Next page, you are required to choose incoming and outgoing services for your account. First, choose the POP service for your account. 
  • Type ‘pop-server.ec.rr.com‘ in the incoming server field. 
  • Then, enter the Roadrunner email address and password in the username segment.
  • In the ‘Incoming server Port Number’ column, enter the 110 value and turn off the Secure Server option. 
  • For ‘Outgoing Mail Server Host,’ enter “smtp.roadrunner.com.” 
  • Next, enter 587 in the ‘Outgoing Server Port Number’ option and turn off the SSL service. 
  • Next, if you see the “Would you like to have a go at setting up the record without SSL?” message. Choose the Yesbutton. 
  • Lastly, your Roadrunner email account user interface appears to finalize the setup. 

Setting up your Roadrunner email Login account on the Android device- 

Every device has different settings. So the setup process can vary for the different devices. However, if you have an android device, follow these steps to complete your Roadrunner email account setup.

Steps- 

  • First, open the Settings option on your Android device. 
  • Then, you can select the Add Account option. 
  • After that, select the ‘IMAP‘ option to set up your email account. 
  • Following this, enter your Roadrunner email address in the input field and then enter your password in the next column. 
  • Now, you are required to choose the IMAP in the convention option. If you can’t see the option on your devices’ window, skip this step. 
  • Set SSL option to ON.
  • Then in the ‘Incoming Server’ column, enter the ‘mail.twc.com‘ and move to the port number. 
  • Enter 993 in the ‘Incoming Server Port’ number option. 
  • In the ‘Outgoing Email Server’ column, enter ‘mail.twc.com‘ and 587 in the ‘Outgoing Email Server Port’ number option.
  • Finally, save the changes to complete the setup. 

Use Outlook to setup your Roadrunner Email account on a desktop or computer- 

You can also set up the Roadrunner email account on your computer. However, to do so, you need to install an email client on your computer. On Windows 10, you can easily get Outlook to set up your email account. Outlook is one of the most trusted email clients to set up email accounts.

Follow these steps if you already have added an account to the Outlook-

 

  • Open Outlook application on your device.
  • Then, choose the “Account” option and proceed to the next step. 
  • Next, you can select the “Email” option, and following this, press the “New” button.  
  • In the next dialogue box, you need to enter your Roadrunner email address and password. 
  • And then select the “Close” button.
  • Finally, you can log in to your Roadrunner account to complete the setup.

Follow these steps to add your first account to the Outlook- 

  • Launch the Outlook application on your device. It might take 10 to 20 seconds when you’re opening it for the first time. 
  • In the first step, select the ‘Account’ option. 
  • Then choose the ‘Account settings’ button. 
  • Go to the Email option and click on the New tab.
  • Click on the Manual Setup option. 
  • Now, you can select the “Next” button and then select the IMAP server. 
  • Click on the Next button. 
  • In the server information, enter IMAP.
  • Now enter your incoming server and outgoing server. For example, you can enter ‘mobile. charter. net’ in both incoming and outgoing server options. 
  • Next, select the YES in the Authentication option. 
  • Lastly, press the Test your account settings option. If the option turns green, your account settings are correct. Otherwise, you need to do the whole process again.
