Nashville is a premier vacation destination that few other cities can top. Located in the heart of Tennessee, it is home to the Tennessee Titans, the Nashville Predators, and the newly formed Nashville Soccer Club.

If you are planning a trip to Nashville, here are some great suggestions based on how many days you will be visiting:

  1. Embrace Downtown!

Hit Broadway for some exciting barhopping and enjoy live music as you go. Pace yourself, because performances often last until 2 AM!  Eat at Puckett’s Grocery or Arnold’s for some incredible southern food. Visit the Tennessee Museum for an independent history lesson or hit the Country Music Hall of Fame if you can’t get enough bluegrass music. If you are in town on the first Saturday of the month, check out the Craftsmanship Slither from 6 – 9 PM and enjoy free beverages and eats.

Nashville has a thriving sports community. Get an experience like no other at a Titans, Predators, or Sounds game.

Book a show at the Grand Ole Opry, then check out the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and the Opry Mills Mall nearby. This area is rich with history and full of great places to eat, like the Opryland Hotel or Dave and Busters at Opry Mills Mall, which is directly in from of the Grand ole Opry.

Hit the Pancake Pantry on 21st in Midtown for breakfast. Show up before 10 to avoid long lines. This is a Nashville staple and a popular spot for flapjacks. After breakfast, head to Belle Meade Plantation and explore their winery. Then, go for a walk around Cheek Wood Botanical Gardens or Percy Warner Park. At the Parthenon in Centennial Park, you can see the biggest indoor sculpture in the Western side of the equator!

Catch an early dinner in any of the incomparable Midtown cafés. Top picks are Boundry, Sunset Grill, Cabana, Jackson’s, and Bosco’s. After dinner, enjoy more live music on Division, where Red Door, Losers, Blue Bar, and Rebar can be found. All are within walking distance of one another and still a $5 taxi ride back to downtown.

Book your trip to Nashville with Trove Hospitality and find out how to get the best hotel rates, flights, and itinerary of things to do while you’re there. For travelers planning anything from a romantic getaway to a family vacation, let us be your trusted Nashville trip planner
