There is no better way to finish a meal than to enjoy a good dessert. In case you have guests and you want to surprise them, today we want to explain how to prepare a tasty Mokkapalat. It is a popular Finnish dessert that resembles the classic brownies. They stand out for their glazed mocha flavor, as well as being a dessert that is prepared quickly and easily. Having said all this, we are going to know the ingredients we need to make it.
Ingredients for the Mokkapalat
The ingredients are very easy to find in any supermarket, so you will have no problem finding them.

200 g of margarine or butter
4 eggs
4 dl of sugar
600 ml of wheat flour
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 teaspoons vanilla sugar
200 ml milk
For the frosting

100 g butter or margarine, melted
about 100 ml cold coffee
450 g icing sugar
2-4 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
To decorate you can use nonpareils (the famous colored pearls) or any dried or sweet fruit of your choice.

Steps to prepare a tasty Mokkapalat
The first thing is to melt the fat and let it cool. Next we will beat the eggs, together with the sugar until it forms a foam. To that mixture we will add the melted fat.

On the other hand, we will mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder and vanilla sugar. This mixture, together with the milk, we will add to the dough. When everything is well mixed, we will spread the dough on a baking tray on baking paper.

We will put the tray in the oven, which we will have previously heated to 200 degrees for 10 or 15 minutes.

For the glaze, we will mix all the ingredients and spread it on the surface once it has cooled.
