The Ford announced the recall 38.005 Mustang production between March 4, 2019 and August 13, 2020 in the US due to faulty brake pedal, which could crack or even break.
The recall affects the Mustangs that are equipped with the automatic transmission, with Ford saying that the problem arose after the change of the pedal construction material from nylon to polypropylene, which resulted in the pedal having reduced strength.
The Blue Oval Company is not aware of any accident or injury related to this defect and will replace the defective pedals with new ones for free.
