Casey Willman Jamestown ND: Family Tradition

Casey Willman Jamestown ND is a small town that celebrates the holiday season with family traditions. One such tradition is setting up a gingerbread house.

“We love to bake, so we always set up the gingerbread house, and we usually have a big dinner afterwards,” said Dawn Willman, Casey’s sister.

The Willmans have been baking gingerbread houses for as long as they can remember. Their mother started making them when they were kids and passed down the tradition to Casey and Dawn.

This year, they commissioned their son, Levi, to make an elaborate gingerbread house. Levi is a skilled artist and has been involved in many local art competitions over the years. He was really excited to be able to contribute his own talent to the family tradition.

Levi and his wife were hard at work constructing the house when we stopped by to take photos. By the time we left, it looked like something out of a Christmas storybook!

The Willmans are just one example of how families throughout Jamestown come together during the holidays. There are usually plenty of dinners and festivities organized by community groups like churches and clubs. The town square usually turns into a festive carnival atmosphere with rides, games, and food vendors open all night long.
