The Burj Khalifa

It began construction in 2004 and officially opened on 4 January 2010, to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates. It is the tallest free-standing structure in the world, standing at an impressive 646m (2,717 ft) and is located on the site of the old United Arab Emirates emirate of Dubai. Burj Dubai is 2,728 ft high. People sometimes take the elevator to the top of the Burj Khalifa. One way to get there is via the 54th floor, which is where I usually ascend. There is an Al Burj Cemetery on the top floor of Burj Khalifa. It offers visitors a chance to pay respects to the dead.

Wild Wadi Water Park

It is one of three water parks in the complex, along with Aquaventure and Motiongate. The facility is open from October until April, Water Park Crowd Appreciation Day Due to the high volume of visitors during the summer months, Wild Wadi Water Park hosts its crowd appreciation day on the last Sunday of every month. At this festival which precedes Mardi Gras, which is an annual parade through the city going past the Dubai Marina, residents and visitors alike show off their best swimming or watermanship skills.

Ski Dubai
