Basically, the Project Management Institute offers the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certificate (PMI).
The CAPM is an entry-level project management credential. The CAPM is meant to show applicants’ mastery of the core concepts, vocabulary, and procedures of successful project management. It is designed for people with little project experience.
How CAPM Test is Scored:
The CAPM test has 150 questions, however, only 135 of them are scored. The remaining 15 are pretest questions that may be included as graded items on future editions of the exam. Because there’s no way of knowing which questions are the pretest questions, you should treat them all equally.
The CAPM exam is a pass/fail exam, however, PMI doesn’t say how many questions you need to get right to pass. When you successfully answer a difficult question, you earn more points than when you correctly answer an easy question.
So, while you might pass with just 100 questions answered on one edition of the test, you could need to answer 105 questions properly on the following version of the exam is a bit easier.

I enjoyed the PMP Teacher book because of the attention to detail and graphic markers against some of the topics she repeats, which helps the reader remember them. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to obtain a copy of this book! It was really helpful, and I was able to draw several similarities with the PMBOK on some of the issues I couldn’t grasp.
