Apply the second coat of the bonding cement.

Wait for 4 days for all coats to fully dry.

Utilize a masonry waterproofer.

Roll and brush on the waterproof masonry sealer inside the basement on exposed concrete or masonry walls.

Sump Pump: Install it

For significant water invasion, install the sump pump. Installing a sump pump is a considerable effort. Or require the services of the contractor and permitted electrician.

To re-patch the broken-up basement floor, we involved plumbing and electricians. However, after installing the sump pump, it is on guard 24 hours a day, though it is not running continuously. When the water level reaches a prescribed point, the pump will turn on and discharge the water.
