The Audi TTS now has a more powerful TFSI engine that produces 320 PS (235 kW) and delivers a maximum torque of 400 Nm. The Coupé accelerates from a standstill to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds (Roadster: 4.8 seconds). The final speed is set electronically at 250 km / h. The 7-speed S Tronic, the permanent Quattro all-wheel-drive system, and the Audi magnetic ride controlled shock absorbers are standard.
The standard equipment of the Audi TTS competition plus includes LED headlights, the brand’s four rings on the side sills, tinted windows for isolation from prying eyes (Coupé only), brake calipers painted in red and glossy black 20-inch wheels with a design of 10 rays. The fixed rear spoiler as well as other exterior details in dark colors, such as the four black Audi rings on the front and back, highlight the model’s dynamism at first glance. Something that the very special exterior colors do, the Chronos gray, glacier white, tango red, and turbo blue.
Inside, the driver has at his disposal the 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit, with the ability to customize the screens as he wishes. The exclusive for TTS competition plus leather upholstery further enhances the sporty interior of this version. The thin Nappa leather is in ebony color, with contrasting seams in red or blue, combined with a rhombus pattern and an embossed S on the back of the front seats. In addition, the various inserts are in carbon design, as standard. Many details are special in design, with the color combinations highlighting the sporty character while the steering wheel has a marker in gray or red, at the point of 12 hours, with contrasting seams in ara blue or tango red and a flattened base, being a real control in the hands of the driver, in an environment focused exclusively on him.
Another important design element will enrich the range of Audi TT and TTS in the second quarter of 2021. This is the special edition “bronze selection”, an offer of Audi Sport to fans of the model. According to the name, the upholstery of the seats, the center console, and the air vents inside have a thin bronze finish while contrasting copper seams emphasize the bucket sport plus seats. Available body colors include Chronos gray, glacier white, and mythos black, which match the elegant bronze hue on the 20-inch V-shaped five-pointed star. The four Audi side sills have the same shade, catch the eye.
In addition to the LED headlights and taillights, a B&O audio system, aluminum inserts, and an expanded leather upholstery package with contrast seams are also standard. Two large round chrome-plated exhaust tailpipes on the right and left give the rear a striking look, while the TTS is dominated by the well-known twin tailpipes. At the front, the Singleframe with the honeycomb pattern is painted in glossy black for the TT and matte titanium black for the TTS.
The Audi TTS competition plus, both in Coupé and Roadster versions, is immediately available for order in Germany, while the “bronze selection” version for the TT and TTS will be available from the spring of 2021.
