Despite the apparent low participation of the primary sector in the use of electronic invoicing, the reality is very different if the weight of this activity in the Spanish economy is taken into account. According to the SERES CMO for Iberia and LATAM “this slight positive variation indicates a trend, especially in a year where there has been a lot of variation compared to previous years. In any case, the percentage of use of electronic invoicing in this sector is higher than the percentage of participation in the GDP of these companies, which in 2019 represented 2.6% of the national total ”.

National data
According to the Study, the number of electronic invoices processed in 2019 in our country amounted to 206,464,053 documents, 13.51% more than in 2018.
