Also thoroughly clean the lawn from leaves and other debris. If you do not do this, a surprise awaits you in the spring in the form of dead parts of the grass. The lawn is last covered for at least 2 weeks before the onset of frost.

In addition to the lawn, think about cleaning other parts of the garden. Remove all dirt from the terrace and sidewalks. We recommend using a cordless leaf blower , which will save you a lot of time. 3. Check the gutter
You should also look at the condition of the gutters. Check for clogging and dispose of any waste. Make sure that all connections are in perfect condition. You certainly don’t want it to start leaking into your rooms.
4. Close the water taps
You should disconnect and drain all hoses before the first frosts. Leave the valve open to allow condensed water to drain out. If you can, move the hoses to a safe place where they will not be exposed to the cold. Also close all outdoor faucets. Frozen water could damage them.
5. Move the pot plants inwards
Put more susceptible plants to the bottom. The frosts would not survive. Cover the smaller shrubs at the root with a layer of peat. Consider moving the furniture under the gazebo somewhere safe. If you don’t have room for it, wrap it in foil. Apply a protective coating to wood that will be exposed to water.
